Leeds United supporters begged for a striker back in January, and Brian Deane hopes The Whites signed a forward who would help The Whites advance to the play-offs.

Joel Piroe’s play had declined following a strong first half of the season, while Patrick Bamford, who had not scored a goal in 2023 this season, had returned to the team and had scored nine goals since January.

Leeds might have used a striker, but Bamford’s play likely eliminated the necessity for one, as Leeds only added Wales international Connor Roberts to the team during the winter transfer window while Burnley was loaned to Leeds.

Kieffer Moore, another Wales star whose Premier League playing time at Bournemouth is limited, was being linked to Leeds at the start of the January transfer window.

It was reported that Leeds was one of the teams monitoring the big striker and aware of Moore’s predicament. Naturally, Moore left Leeds to play for Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich team and has since become a star.

Former Leeds forward Deane expresses his wish The 49ers moved to sign Moore, who would cost £40,000 a week:Deane wishes Kieffer Moore had been signed by Leeds United
Moore is known as an expert at this level, having played 155 times in the Championship and scored 47 goals in the past, and he demonstrated this under McKenna throughout the second part of the season at Portman Road.

In his eighteen appearances, he netted seven goals for Ipswich, which helped them place second, ahead of Leeds. Deane claims he wishes Leeds had signed Moore in January rather than Ipswich in an interview with Tribal Football.

“I believed Leeds needed Kieffer Moore when Ipswich acquired him.” to present an alternative choice up front. Leeds, in my opinion, is incapable of winning ugly. The issue is that, Deane said to Tribal Football.

Regarding Ipswich striker Moore, Joe Rodon has previously stated that Moore is undoubtedly a physical presence who will engage in a physical altercation with a center-back and attempt to overwhelm them. Rodon, who has experienced that firsthand, talked about training against Moore.
