Things are starting to heat up with the Commanders, Jayden Daniels, and his desire to play in Washington, D.C., with less than a week until the 2024 NFL Draft.
With five days left until the 2024 NFL Draft, things are getting ridiculous. Heisman-winning quarterback Jayden Daniels of LSU is expected to hear his name called early in the draft, but it appears that he could be interested in hearing from a different team besides the Washington Commanders.
While things are headed towards Daniels being selected second overall, ESPN insider Adam Schefter revealed on The Pat McAfee Show today that it’s not quite that simple. What the insider said was as follows:
In that same video, Schefter makes a suggestion that the Las Vegas Raiders should be the team to keep an eye on in order to advance and acquire Daniels, stating that “a team that used to essentially have a team that used to work with him in college…” The coach he speaks about is Antonio Pierce, the head coach of the Raiders, who spent Daniels’ final season in Tempe as the defensive coordinator of the Arizona State Sun Devils.
