‘Incredible’ £38m player has just been spotted wearing an Aston Villa shirt after bundlesliga win

A player who has been coveted by Europe’s top clubs of late has now surprisingly been spotted wearing an Aston Villa shirt.

Unai Emery’s project is just going from strength to strength right now, and Villa’s win against Arsenal demonstrated just how far they’ve come

Without Douglas Luiz in the team, Villa were able to dominate the league’s best side in the second half, and deserved to grab the three points.

Of course, Emery’s side now have the perfect opportunity to back that success up with progression to the Europa Conference League semi-final too.

LOSC Lille are tough opposition, but Villa have provided plenty of reason to believe that they can get the job done.

That being said, it will be interesting to see who Unai Emery and his team target in the summer to continue all of this progress.

Last summer’s business was excellent, and the club must already have solid plans in place thus.

Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries seems to be on the radar, and Villa are even said to be in pole position for a deal.

And although he’s not necessarily linked with a move to the club, another Dutch right-back has just caused a stir.

Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong spotted wearing an Aston Villa shirt after Bundesliga win

Having won the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen over the weeknd, Jeremie Frimpong has been spotted wearing an Aston Villa shirt during his celebrations.

The moment was captured on Tik Tok and then shared on X, which has caused a lot of intrigue among the Villa fanbase.

And although many fans may be understandably excited in regards to that signalling interest in a move to the Midlands one day, that may be getting slightly carried away.

There does appear to be a more logical explanation of why Frimpong is wearing the shirt.

Moussa Diaby left Bayer Leverkusen last summer as mentioned to come to Villa, and it seems he’s stayed close friends with the ‘incredible’ defender.

The shirt has Diaby’s name and number on the back, and appears to be a match worn edition.

So whilst you can never say never, it seems the £38m-defender won’t be heading to Aston Villa on this basis any time soon.

All that being said, it’s not just Denzel Dumfries that Villa are said to be looking at as their potential new right-back.
