The Cincinnati Bengals will aim to make it back to the AFC Championship Game (or beyond) in 2024 after an injury-plagued 2023 season.
Joe Burrow, the team’s signal caller, is a top target for the Bengals in NFL Network’s most recent 2024 NFL mock draft, according to Bucky Brooks. In the yearly event held next month, LSU receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is predicted by Brooks to be selected by the Bengals with the 18th overall pick.

Cincinnati Bengals’ 2023 Season Spiraled Due to Injuries

One of the pre-season favorites to win Super Bowl 58, the Cincinnati Bengals were seemingly poised to remain right in the thick of things in not only the AFC but in the entire NFL. However, a week 11 injury to star quarterback, Joe Burrow just about ended things right then and there. Burrow tore a ligament in his right hand (throwing hand) during the Bengals’ week 11 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, which led to Jake Browning taking over lead signal-caller duties for the club for the remainder of the season. The Bengals would not collapse, though; thanks to Browning’s unexpectedly strong play in the wake of Burrow’s season-ending injury, Zac Taylor’s team finished the regular season with a respectable 9-8 record and just missed out on the playoffs.
