Unfortunately for Minnesota, by the time the team selects No. 11, the four quarterbacks who are generally regarded as the best: Blake Williams, Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, and J.J. McCarthy. Therefore, the question becomes what the organisation is prepared to give up in order to select second overall.
With their existing roster, the Vikings are in a unique position to compete right now, unlike most teams who draft in the top 10. Jordan Addison, T.J. Hockenson, and Jefferson make together one of the best receiving cores any young quarterback could be teamed with. Not to mention that head coach Kevin O’Connell has a strong offensive mind and the team has some outstanding offensive line parts.

The Vikings had problems with fumbling early in the season, and after Cousins sustained a season-ending injury and Jefferson missed several weeks, the team lost hope of making the playoffs.
