Florida is set to host a five-star committed elsewhere for the first time this weekend
The Florida Gators already had a good core group of visitors expected in town this weekend as of Friday morning. That list of names got a bit more firepower added to it on Friday afternoon, with the latest name expected in town being Birmingham (AL) Parker five-star cornerback Na’eem Offord, who is committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The Gators offered the Top five player in the class of 2025 back in August of 2023. He’s not gotten to Gainesville to date, but that will now change. He’s arrived in The Swamp on Friday evening. The plan is for him to get some time around the facility on Friday, but the bulk of his visit will be on Saturday to see the team hit the practice field.

With the start of spring camp, Swamp247 has position previews on each unit of the Florida Gators, along with nonstop content of the UF men’s basketball team and the university’s baseball program. The Florida men’s basketball team concluded its home slate Tuesday with an 18-point win over No. 16-ranked Alabama, and the Gators are all but set for the NCAA Tournament for the first time under UF head coach Todd Golden.
As for the baseball program, SEC play is right around the corner, and the Gators are off to a promising start with an 8-4 record as the No. 4-ranked team in the nation. Kevin O’Sullivan’s team features one of the nation’s brightest young stars in Jac Caglianone, who was named the Southeastern Conference’s Pitcher of the Week alongside LSU’s Luke Holman, the conference announced Monday.
Caglianone struck out a career-high 11 batters en route to earning the victory against the Hurricanes to improve to 1-0 on the season. He limited Miami to a .143 batting average and had a one-hitter going through five frames Sunday.
