When the Celtics play the Raptors in Toronto on Monday at 7:30 p.m., they might not have enough players. The injury report indicates that Jaylen Brown’s status is doubtful due to hyperextension of his right knee.
For Brown, the knee problem is new because he hasn’t had many ailments lately. Positively, there are no additional players mentioned for the C’s. With the exception of Brown, all of the Celtics’ rotation players have lately suffered a few ailments, but other than him, everyone should be healthy.
Even if the counting figures are lower than in previous seasons, Brown has nonetheless had an outstanding season. Brown has demonstrated great defense, and he still plays strong two-way football. On 11 of 15 shots, he finished with 32 points and 6 rebounds in the Rockets game on Saturday.
After losing badly to the Bucks on Thursday, the Celtics recovered admirably, even though they had five games in seven days left. This week, the C’s will play every other day, beginning on Monday against the Raptors. They are the only club remaining in the season with less than ten defeats, currently holding the best record in the league with a 30-9 record.
