Two-thirds of one of the most dynamic and productive trios in college football history are on the Cincinnati Bengals.

Following their time together with the LSU Tigers, Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase reconnected, leaving Justin Jefferson behind.

It goes without saying that Jefferson’s situation ended up going rather well, since he has gone on to become one of the greatest players on Earth.

That’s why Jefferson only feels affection for his former quarterback when they see each other.

He recently mentioned on Kay Adams’ “Up & Adams” program that he always enjoys checking in and catching up with Burrow during the brief time they get to spend together before games. He also said that he has nothing but respect and admiration for Burrow, which is why he finds it unfortunate that he has been dealing with so many injuries lately.

Ja'Marr Chase

Jefferson acknowledged that he already shared a brotherhood with Chase, but he also acknowledged that despite their mutual desire for the best for one another, their connection is very different because of Chase’s intense competition.

Looking at that LSU squad and how stacked it was is absurd.

Most of the players wound up being stars at the next level, and it should go down as one of the greatest teams in college football history.

Who knows?

Maybe one day, the Bayou trio of stars will go back to being teammates instead of being opponents.
