Nottingham Forest are being linked with a move for Hoffenheim striker Maximilian Beier ahead of next month. The Reds are going to be pushing hard to sign a new striker when the window reopens.

At the moment, Forest’s goal scoring performance is lacking. Because Taiwo Awoniyi is currently injured, the Reds eventually lack something in the final third when he isn’t playing.

Next month, landing Beier won’t be easy. The player has a £28 million release clause, and Brentford, Brighton, and Liverpool are all eager to risk something on him.

Beier, a striker for Hoffenheim, is now connected to Forest.
The talisman, who is 21 years old, appears to be a player with potential. Journalist Christian Falk, who has an ear to the ground in the Bundesliga, has reported on the Forest connections.

Throughout the 2023–24 season, Beier has scored six goals, while the gifted Germany under-21 international has assisted on four more.

The youngster is a product of the youth academy at Hoffenheim. He spent the last two seasons out on loan with Hannover 96, scoring 15 goals in 68 appearances in the German second tier.

The £28 million release clause in the player’s contract won’t make him an easy signing for Forest to complete. With the threat of relegation hanging over the club, it’s a lot to fork out.
