During Sunday night’s big game for the Dallas Cowboys, Brandon Aubrey, fans were saying the same thing.

The Cowboys kicker scored all three of his extra points and went 4/4 on field goals during Dallas’ Week 14 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, 33-13. Kicks from 60, 59, 45, and 50 yards out were made by Aubrey. He created NFL history by being the first kicker to make two field goals of 59 yards or more in the same game.

What did he have fans saying? They were all calling him by his “Butter” nickname and using butter imagery in their social media posts.

This season, Aubrey has been as silky and delicious as butter. For the Cowboys, the rookie kicker is a perfect 30/30 on field goals. His three failed efforts at extra points are the lone stain on an otherwise flawless season.

McCarthy hopes for a speedy recovery. He anticipates being available to coach when the Cowboys play the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night, according to the team.

The 9-3 Cowboys have won six of their previous seven games and four in a row. Given how well his offense had been playing, it makes sense that McCarthy would want to return to the squad as soon as possible.
