Last week’s game between the Cowboys and Seahawks was quite exciting. The drama was increased by some pushing and shoving between Dallas tight end Jake Ferguson and Seattle’s Quandre Diggs and Jamal Adams.

However, the NFL declared on Saturday that the actions of all three players amounted to unsportsmanlike conduct. The league fined Adams and Diggs $10,927 apiece. Fergie was fined $5,812 by the league.

The fight broke out toward the end of the third quarter. Although Dak Prescott and the Cowboys were leading, the Seahawks were ahead 28–20. The Seattle secondary was struggling to contain Ferguson as they concentrated on stopping CeeDee Lamb. The Cowboys tight end in his second year of play caught six passes for 77 yards and a touchdown. Prescott tossed eight passes to Ferguson.

Prescott sent the ball to Ferguson on a second-and-13 from the Seahawks 20, and Ferguson bullied his way 14 yards. Diggs stood over Ferguson after the tackle and spoke about the massive hit he delivered. Ferguson leaped up and gave Diggs the first down signal before pushing him back. Ferguson was followed by Adams, who gestured at him. Next, the two facemasks were locked, and Adams smacked the tight end. Ferguson signaled a first down once more. The next play was about to begin. On the following play, running back Tony Pollard scored, bringing the score down to 28–27. In the end, the Cowboys prevailed 41-35.

Ferguson could be big factor in Cowboys-Eagles game

The most talked-about game of week 14 should be Sunday night’s Cowboys vs. Eagles matchup. The Eagles are attempting to retain their first-round NFC playoff seed, after all. For the top seed, the Cowboys require some assistance. They trail the Eagles by one game in the NFC East, but because of their victory over the Cowboys earlier in the season, Philadelphia has the advantage in the tiebreaker.

Ferguson most likely to play a significant role in the offensive strategy. You witnessed his actions against the Seahawks. However, in terms of statistics, he had his finest game of the season against the Eagles. He caught seven catches for 91 yards and a touchdown at that point.

The Seahawks, meanwhile, are 6-6. Right now, they rank eighth best.

NFL issued 22 fines for week 13 discipline

Returning to the topic of fines, the following is a list of every player who has to pay the league for misbehavior.

On Thanksgiving, DaRon Bland was the NFL’s toast. For the seventh time this season, the Cowboys cornerback has recovered an interception for a touchdown, shattering a 50-year NFL record.

You would think that Bland’s performance would scare other quarterbacks from throwing the ball somewhere else. However, Bland was under to unrelenting pressure from the Seahawks, the Cowboys’ next opponent, in the first half, when Seattle wide receiver DK Metcalf scored two touchdowns.

Could the Eagles, who the Cowboys play on Sunday night, use a similar approach? Dan Quinn, the defensive coordinator for Dallas, advises Philadelphia against it.

As the Cowboys prepared for their largest home game of the season, Quinn warned reporters earlier this week, “If they do, they’d better be careful.”
