Sad News: The Bengals are inconsolable when a vital player sustains a horrific injury.

Cincinnati — On Thursday, DJ Turner II and Tyler Boyd were added to the list of injuries.

Turner is suffering with a hamstring injury, while Boyd was classified as having an ankle injury. On Friday, both guys returned to practice.

Aches and pains are inevitable, especially during short weeks, but injuries sustained in the middle of the week can be quite concerning. Following injuries they sustained during the week during practice, Tee Higgins, Cam Taylor-Britt, and Chase Brown all missed a substantial amount of time this season.

The good news is that Boyd and Turner appear to be doing well. Sunday’s game between the Bengals (6-6) and Colts (7-5) has major postseason ramifications for the AFC playoff race.

About as well as you could wish, says Geoff Hobson. Browning has set an NFL record for the best completion % in a passer’s first two NFL starts while taking over for Joe Burrow, the league’s all-time leader in completion percentage. He’s also become better; in his second start, the Bengals went from scoring 10 points at home in a defeat to the Steelers to scoring 34 points in overtime in a victory over Jacksonville on the road.
