The 9-3 Detroit Lions travel to Chicago this Sunday to take on the Chicago Bears in the hopes of winning another game on the road. The Lions would be one step closer to winning the NFC North crown if they win this game, something they haven’t done since 1993. The preliminary injury report for Week 14 has been provided by the team.

The Detroit Lions’ initial injury report for the week has been out, and it points to some difficulties as they get ready for their Week 14 matchup with the Bears. core Frank Ragnow, whose numerous health issues raise doubts about his ability to play on Sunday, is at the core of the report. Positively, linebacker Alex Anzalone gave his full participation to Wednesday’s practice.

After Alim McNeill’s injury, the Detroit Lions were compelled to add more depth to their defensive interior.

Tyson Alualu, a 13-year NFL veteran, was one of the signings to the practice squad. In order to aid the Lions, the 36-year-old, who was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2022, will need to be in football form.

The Lions have brought in a seasoned presence twice this season; the first time was when they brought in Bruce Irvin in a similar manner earlier in the campaign. Irvin was promoted for his Lions debut versus New Orleans, having spent the previous two weeks on the practice squad.

Irvin did not take part in the practice on Wednesday. Alualu will be gradually brought into action, just like Irvin did before him.

“We went out with him yesterday. “I just wanted to see how he looked, and he’s been staying in shape,” Campbell told the media. “Had the check-up, so no worries, let’s proceed. Let’s help him get in shape so he can play football like Bruce. To be honest, he provides solidity and the floor.

“That gives us comfort because you can very much predict exactly what you’re going to get. Again, he’s an asset to the roster and has a little bit of versatility. We will thus make a choice once we believe he is prepared to take that on and is in game shape. See if he can assist us.

Irvin disclosed following practice that he was hurt somewhat on his ankle against the Saints, but he should be back in the gym on Thursday.
