Dallas Goedert, the great tight end for the Philadelphia Eagles, may return from his injury soon, in time for the team’s crucial Week 14 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on “Sunday Night Football.”

Goedert attended the “94WIP Midday Show” on Tuesday, where he talked about the broken right forearm he sustained in the team’s opening game against the Cowboys in Week 9. The 28-year-old has missed the last three games for the team.

The Eagles, who won 28-23 against Dallas at home on November 5, will travel to face their NFC East opponents on Sunday. Philadelphia, who is 10-2 in the division, is only one game ahead of the 9-3 Cowboys (as well as the 49ers) after suffering a 42-19 home loss to them.

Goedert recorded a career-high 830 receiving yards in 2021 along with 56 receptions and four touchdowns on his 76 targets, maybe his greatest season to date. The only player on the squad higher than all of those numbers was standout wide receiver DeVonta Smith.

The South Dakota State graduate was third on the team in targets (69), catches (55), receiving yards (702) and was tied for third in receiving touchdowns (three) despite missing five games due to a shoulder injury the previous season.

During the 2023 season, Goedert had a rough start, including a one-target goose egg in Week 1. In the first four games, he recorded no more than 41 receiving yards. Things got better for the 2018 second round starting with the squad’s victory against in Week 5.
