Tottenham Hotspur’s Tanguy Ndombélé has ended up on the radar of both Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, according to multiple reports in recent weeks.
The midfielder has been out on loan since January 2022 and returned to Spurs after a spell at Napoli last season. His future needs to be sorted out and the two Turkish clubs have shown interest in his services.
That’s according to Turkish journalist Ertan Süzgün, who took to Twitter to state the Süper Lig winners have taken further steps to sign the Tottenham player.
He claims Galatasaray have made an ‘official offer’ of €8m for the Frenchman and want to pay this fee in four instalments. However, Ange Postecoglou’s side have ‘not accepted’ this proposal.
Fenerbahçe are also in the background.
Süzgün says Tottenham’s fee expectation and the 26-year-old’s salary demands, he currently earns €4.7m net per year, are ‘very high’ and this makes it ‘difficult’ for the Istanbul clubs to sign him.
The journalist doesn’t mention fee requested by Tottenham but a report from Corriere dello Sport on July 17th had stated they want €25m to sell Ndombélé in this window.
