As we wait to see who the next recruit will be in what could be a summer transfer window spree, time to look at two former Hatters who have made the news.

The first is Curtis Davies, a centre-back who made 56 league appearances for the Hatters from 2003 to 2005, scoring 2 league goals.

Now 38-years-of-age, Davies has been playing his football with Derby County for the last six-years but was released by the League One club at the end of the season.

But, rather than opt to hang his boots up, the BBC have confirmed that Curtis has opted to continue playing and has signed a one-year deal with the another League One club, Cheltenham Town

The second is Stuart Moore, a goalkeeper that spent time on loan with the Hatters. Moore, 28-years-of-age, has, according to the Lancaster Guardian, joined Morecambe, on a one-year deal, after becoming a free agent once his contract with Blackpool had expired.

Here at Vital Luton Town, we’d like to take this opportunity to wish Curtis and Stuart every success at their new clubs.
