Zac Taylor has simply had no luck with the injury bug this year. Despite having a lot of talent, his Cincinnati Bengals are failing to make the playoffs. Joe Burrow was the first to fall down, and they needed to find solutions at quarterback. It appears that the same issue will arise when Jake Browning faces the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are headed by Trevor Lawrence.
There may be motions that indicate discomfort, or he may struggle to salvage damaged plays. He did, however, put up respectable numbers against the Pittsburgh Steelers. With correct schematics from Zac Taylor, Browning completed 19 of 26 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown for the Bengals’ air attack.
The Steelers’ secondary did manage to intercept him, but he will improve his aim over time. Joe Burrow’s absence has undoubtedly been missed, but Browning has demonstrated his ability to move into the starting job.
