The Cincinnati Bengals have been plagued by injuries this season, leaving them at 5-6 and on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoff situation.
Joe Burrow has been ruled out for the season, Tee Higgins has missed many games due to a hamstring injury, Cam Taylor-Britt had a concussion in Week 11, and Logan Wilson was injured near the end of the Week 12 game.
As the Bengals enter Week 13 and prepare face the Jaguars on Monday Night Football, Zac Taylor provided updates on all four players. He began with Burrow, noting that the quarterback was undergoing surgery and that Taylor expected a full recovery.
Taylor stated that Higgins has been training with the trainers and that they will see where he is at. He has missed the last two games, as well as one earlier in the season. Wilson has an ankle sprain, according to Taylor, and they will watch his development.
Finally, Taylor stated that Higgins, Taylor-Britt, and Wilson might all play next Monday night in Jacksonville. The Bengals will benefit from a longer week, and perhaps all of these essential contributors will be able to return to the field. When they’ve been plagued by injuries all season, it may go a long way for them.
