Nothing could stop the Green Bay Packers from defeating the Detroit Lions 29-22 on Thanksgiving. On the first play of the game, Jordan Love connected with Christian Watson for a 53-yard reception, setting the tone for a game in which Green Bay never trailed

Head coach Matt LaFleur appears to be at his best when his cupboard is empty. In 2021, his Packers upset the 7-0 Arizona Cardinals 24-21 despite missing its three top wide receivers, David Bakhtiari, and Alexander.
