Without one of their best offensive weapons, the Philadelphia Eagles are about to embark on their greatest test of the regular season. Monday Night Football will feature the Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs in a repeat of last season’s Super Bowl.
Since breaking his forearm in Week 9 against the Dallas Cowboys, tight end Dallas Goedert has not been a member of the Eagles. Although he hasn’t been placed on injured reserve, he hasn’t been able to train this week.
The Philadelphia Eagles ruled Goedert out
Goedert was ruled out by the Eagles against the Chiefs, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
With 410 receiving yards and two touchdowns, Goedert is third among the Eagles’ wide receivers this season. Jack Stoll, Goedert’s successor, has 10 yards from two receptions on three targets this season.
Assuming Goedert is out, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is expected to focus more on A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
