Due to a hamstring injury, Tee Higgins, the number two wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, who are led by Joe Burrow, was sidelined during last week’s unexpected defeat to the Houston Texans. Regretfully, the Bengals supporters were not pleased with the news they learned today about his involvement:
Tee Higgins is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, ranking just below the elite group that includes teammate Ja’Marr Chase and perennial All-Pros Cooper Kupp and Tyreek Hill. Additionally, Tee Higgins appeared to be just getting back into his groove after posting a stellar 8 catches for 110 yards against a (maybe) formidable Buffalo Bills defense, despite having a relatively lackluster season for the majority of it.
Even though Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati offense are still functioning without Tee Higgins, he does offer a great backup option that not many teams can match. And while Higgins is still eligible to play in Thursday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, this is undoubtedly a step in the wrong direction as it seems more and more likely that he won’t suit up for the divisional matchup.

It should be an exciting battle regardless of whether Higgins plays, and perhaps it will be a welcome diversion from the awful Thursday night games that the public has been forced to watch this season.
