If the Las Vegas Raiders want to win again on Sunday, they must focus on New York Jets top wide receiver Garrett Wilson.
The Las Vegas Raiders have been playing excellent defence over the last few weeks.

Following a convincing 27-6 victory against the New York Giants, the Raiders welcome the New York Jets to Allegiant Stadium, a team that has struggled offensively this season.

The Jets structured their offence around newly acquired star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but it all came crashing down on the first drive of the season when Rodgers tore his Achilles. As a result, the Jets were forced to reintroduce Zach Wilson into the starting lineup.

While the Jets’ offence has struggled this season, standout wide receiver Garrett Wilson has done his lot to keep the team competitive. Wilson has developed as one of the NFL’s best young receivers.

Wilson instantly demonstrated his ability to be a building piece for the Jets after being picked with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draught out of Ohio State. He won Offensive Rookie of the Year after catching 83 passes for 1,103 yards and four touchdowns.

Last season, Wilson had three 100-yard receiving performances, including an eight-catch, 162-yard outing against the Minnesota Vikings. This season, he has one 100-yard receiving game.

While having Rodgers throw to him would have elevated his game, Wilson is still putting up great statistics for the Jets. In his second year, he has established himself as one of the league’s most dependable targets.

Wilson is a one-of-a-kind talent because of his rare combination of solid stature, elite route running, and outstanding agility. Wilson’s body can bend in extraordinary ways to go up and make unbelievable receptions, such as the touchdown catch against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1.Wilson is a speedy route runner whose quick and sharp moves separate him from his opponent. At the NFL Scouting Combine, he ran a 4.38 40-yard dash, and his speed is visible on the field.

When the Raiders are game-planning for the Jets, No. 17 must be at the top of their list of players to try to contain. If the Raiders allow Zach and Garrett Wilson to communicate effectively, he might have a big night.

The Silver and Black will return to Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 12, at 8:20 p.m. ET/5:20 p.m. PT to face the New York Jets.
