Newcastle United fans have made some big calls for today’s starting XI to face Arsenal following the 3-0 win over Manchester United in the Carabao Cup.
Eddie Howe must again rotate his squad, with Tuesday night’s Champions League game at Dortmund on the horizon, followed quickly by the Premier League clash with Bournemouth. The United boss has limited resources at his disposal due to a crippling injury list, but was able to make changes in midweek at Old Trafford.
Of those changes, Tino Livramento, Emil Krafth, Paul Dummett, Joe Willock and Lewis Hall stood out in an impressive team performance – but all have been benched by fans for tonight’s game with Arsenal. It’s not surprising, howver, when you consider they’re replaced by players such as Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schar, Bruno Guimaraes, Callum Wilson and Miggy Almiron.
