So Sad News: Tottenham top star player has been ruled out untill….

Many of the players that will contribute to Tottenham Hotspur during the Ange Postecoglou era are now injured or on their way back

Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has several players returning to the team in the coming weeks.

After six games, the Australian has had a fantastic start to life at the north London club, where he is presently unbeaten and in fourth place in the Premier League. Spurs did leave the Carabao Cup with a significantly different squad than when they arrived at Fulham, but their performance in the North London Derby on Sunday has kept the team’s positive vibes alive.

During an embarrassing time in the second half of the North London Derby, the 26-year-old midfielder went down holding his knee, frightening everyone. After the injury, Maddison appeared to be responding well to treatment. He continued to play for almost five more minutes and was moving normally when he did his post-game media responsibilities.

The England player, who has been playing through a number of ailments in recent weeks, has being closely monitored this week, but optimism about his possibilities of carrying on with his excellent form this season has persisted until Saturday when Liverpool visit town.

Johnson Brennan
In the 62nd minute of Sunday’s derby, he pulled up clutching his left leg, giving fans another concern. Football.london is aware that Johnson’s hamstring strain was initially thought to be a minor ailment rather than a more significant problem.

This week, the hamstring has been observed to ensure that there isn’t any underlying problem. It was treated on Monday morning and subsequently underwent a precautionary scan later in the week. Since then, the patient has been walking on the grass at Hotspur Way.

Gil Bryan
The 22-year-old needed groyne surgery in August and hasn’t participated in a game since the Postecoglou era.

Gil, though, is anticipated to be ready for selection very soon after intensifying his recuperation and starting his reintegration into the first team.

Fernando Bentancur
As he approaches the conclusion of his recovery from a cruciate ligament injury, the Uruguayan has been progressively increasing his participation in first team training sessions.

Postecoglou has previously stated that Bentancur has been requesting an increasing amount of training time, but up until that moment, he was only participating in the warm-ups to get him started.

It appears that he participated in some attacking drills in recent training recordings. Postecoglou stated that the midfield player would probably return in November as Spurs make sure he is risk-free to play again. After a protracted absence, it will take him some time to regain his best form, therefore Bentancur will be expecting to play sooner than Postecoglou suggested.

Ryan Sevigny
Another player who hasn’t played for Postecoglou yet is expected to get surgery to finally relieve his hamstring pain from previous years.

It is believed that the 23-year-old has started some light training again in preparation for going back to running. In order to make sure Sessegnon’s hamstring nightmare doesn’t come back, Tottenham’s staff is being cautious with him. A return to full training is anticipated to take several weeks.
