Aston Villa are claimed to have ‘offered €25m’ for AC Milan midfielder Charles De Ketelaere.
The 22-year-old arrived in Italy last summer from Club Brugge as Milan reached the semi-finals of the Champions League and finished fourth in Serie A at the end of 2022/23.
But after scoring 18 goals and assisting another 10 in 48 appearances at Brugge, he managed just one assist and failed to score in 40 appearances with Milan.
And Italian Journalist Giovanni Capuano has claimed that Villa have submitted a bid for the Belgian star. He claims that the imminent arrival of Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic will “close the way” for him to remain at Milan.
However, Capuano also claims that Villa’s reported offer of €25m “is not enough” but that the Villans remain in talks as “the negotiation is open”.
The young star has also been linked with Burnley this summer, while West Ham United, Everton and Crystal Palace are all said to be interested.
