JUST IN: Leicester City should loan these three players out in January.

The nature of Leicester City’s high-flying record has given Enzo Maresca little reasons to make wholesale changes to his squad every week, even though he is endowed with quality across a variety of positions.

The Foxes are top of the table after six straight league wins, with the tenacious Ipswich Town keeping them on their toes, while the rest of the chasing pack is already sliding behind.

With victories galore, the former Manchester City coach’s next challenge is squad management, ensuring the full range of his squad is kept satisfied both on and off the pitch as we look at three players who could do with a move away from the King Power Stadium, even if only temporarily.

Wanya Marçal looked energetic in the early stages of the season in what appeared to be his breakthrough campaign.

After a strong showing in the 2-0 EFL Cup victory against Burton Albion, he was given back-to-back league starts against Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City, scoring the opener against the Bluebirds.

Despite making a strong first impression, the 20-year-old has dropped down the pecking order, with Stephy Mavididi and Kasey McAteer flourishing on either flank, and has reverted to the U21s.

Marçal needs a chance to thrive on the professional scene after demonstrating his creative potential in August, with EFL Trophy appearances hardly the most fruitful use of his talent.

Mr. Daniel Iversen

Both Daniel Iversen and Danny Ward have found themselves out of favour at the King Power Stadium with new signing Mads Hermansen and academy shotstopper Jakub Stolarczyk keeping them both out of the first-team picture.

How Enzo Maresca transformed Leicester City: Sleeping at the training ground and 'the idea'

The Danish international, who has a contract until 2025, attracted interest from Premier League side Crystal Palace in the summer, according to the Daily Mail, but never went through with the move.

Carrying an asking price of £5 million this summer, also reported by the Daily Mail, the Foxes wanted to sell the goalkeeper after rejecting a loan bid from Stoke City but if nobody wants to part with the cash in January, could benefit from sending him out on loan to retain, or even increase, his value.
