Hwang Hee-chan scored Wolves’ opener in the 53rd minute at Molineux on Sunday (8 October) after Pedro Neto made mincemeat of Torres while the Spaniard was defending out wide.

Torres did, however, redeem himself quickly by scoring Villa’s equaliser just two minutes later.

Hutton doesn’t believe Hutton will be happy with the performance at Molineux.

However, the ex-Scotland right-back does feel that overall Aston Villa have had a good season so far and have improved in recent weeks.

“Emery will see it as two points dropped,” Hutton told Villa News.

“If you think about the goal they conceded, I thought Torres should have done a lot better. He doesn’t really want to be in the position where he’s out wide against Neto but I think they can do better.

There should have been a penalty for Ollie Watkins, he hit the post late on and they had some really good opportunities so I think Emery will feel they should have got more out of the game

After that erratic start to the season, things have started to look better. They’re sitting fifth at this moment in time so I don’t think you can be too unhappy.

“Emery’s just meticulous in everything that he wants, he goes through everything all week to the letter and I think when he sees something he’s unhappy with, that’s just the type of manager he is.”

In other Aston Villa news, Louie Barry could be fighting for his future at Villa Park as his latest deal may be terminated early.
