Aaron Ramsey is expected to participate in Cardiff City’s match against archrivals Swansea this Saturday, according to Erol Bulut, despite scaring supporters while on international duty with Wales.
Ramsey scored a penalty against Latvia on Monday, his 100th goal in senior football, but he jogged off after the 49th minute, raising concerns.
Wales manager Rob Page attempted to assuage anxieties following the game, while Ramsey himself stated that it was merely a precaution. He has only played 49 minutes of football in two games this season, but the problem appears to have eased somewhat over the international break, and it would be a huge boost for Bulut if a player of his calibre was available for this Saturday’s derby.
