Dr. Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has joined us as an exclusive columnist. He’ll be sharing his thoughts on the Rangers’ injury situation every week…

According to the injury expert, based on the length of time out, it cannot be a simple cramp, which players dismiss swiftly.

After the game against Real Betis, Michael Beale remarked that it appeared innocuous, but the Wales international suffered a reaction the next day.
Brar, a doctor of physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Ibrox News exclusively about his situation:

“A muscle that appears to be cramping may turn out to be a muscle strain.”

“That appears to be the case here, and it appears to be worse than previously suspected due to the player’s reaction.”

“Not sure on what muscle specifically was injured but since he’s out until after the October international break, I’d expect him to return to training around that period.”

Lawrence has been injured many times since joining the Rangers and does not appear to be getting any better.
He’ll be hoping to be fit for months at a time once he returns from the international break in mid-October.

Gers have had a rough start to the season, but Lawrence has shown on multiple times that he is capable of making the difference on his day.

In other Rangers news, Alan Shearer has staked his claim on the club’s Europa League campaign following what Gary Lineker recently said.
