West Ham and Nottingham Forest set for midfielder transfer tussle – Moyes eyeing €30m Rice replacement

Now that West Ham United are getting closer to selling Declan Rice to a Premier League rival, they need to think about his replacement

The outlet look at what the future holds for the Morocco international, who impressed the entire globe with his performances for his national team at the Qatar World Cup late last year, and explain that it will take at least €30m to get him away from Florence.

This ‘was and is’ the valuation they have placed on their star player, and while claims in Spain suggest Atlético Madrid are close, ‘there are no confirmations’ of that from Fiorentina’s end.

That opens the door for the competition, with both West Ham and Nottingham Forest named as interested parties.

It’s pointed out that the Premier League hypothesis ‘cannot be ruled out’ for the player, as he is ‘an idea’ of David Moyes’ to replace Rice.

As for Steve Cooper, it’s said Nottingham Forest ‘like him’, and we all know they aren’t afraid to pay a bit of money for a player they want.
