Nottingham Forest star picks up injury on international duty

Nottingham Forest striker Anthony Elanga has returned to the club after suffering a minor injury. The 21-year-old did not play for the Swedish team that beat Estonia 5-0 yesterday.

Currently, according to Fotbolls EM, the player has been released from the camp. He will now return to Forest for treatment before the Red Devils face Burnley next Monday.
Elanga could have been on the bench for Sweden yesterday. However, the player was injured and could never feature in the clash.
Now, instead of preparing to face Austria, Elanga has returned to Forest. Steve Cooper hopes the player can recover soon and this proves to be nothing more than a problem.

Elanga was injured and Forest waited anxiously
That’s not good news. When it comes to injuries, Forest fans could be forgiven for feeling a sense of déjà vu, with last season blighted by a number of injuries. Elanga has started his career at Forest very well. He has scored a goal and an assist and the future looks extremely bright for the Swedish international striker.

The fast performer hopes to recover soon. If that is indeed an issue, Forest will probably be grateful to have been allowed to leave camp and won’t risk making things worse by playing Sweden in midweek.Anthony Elanga 'ready' to help Nottingham Forest this season - BBC Sport
