The latest Birmingham City news and opinions, as the Blues’ free agent options are still available.
The team at Birmingham City has undergone change. Craig Gardner and his recruitment staff have worked tirelessly to infuse John Eustace’s group with pace, technical prowess, and most of all, competition, despite the fact that they only had a small number of registered professionals at the beginning of the summer.
Twelve senior pros showed up, the fees were paid, and Eustace managed to oversee the best season start in years—hardly a coincidence. Blues are in fourth place with 11 points after five games and have the right to believe they could have had more.
The Blues are going through an exciting time, especially because it appears they have the means to add if they can locate value.
We’ve looked at the players released by Premier League and Championship clubs this summer, as well as a select handful from across the world, who are still available, keeping in mind that the free agent market is strong this year.
