Due to Alex Moreno’s return to training and Jacob Ramsey’s impending comeback for manager Unai Emery following the international break, Aston Villa has received a double injury boost.

The Express & Star claims that Moreno is back at Bodymoor Heath with the Aston Villa players not playing for their countries. The left-back has not been available to Emery since he suffered a hamstring injury in May. He might, however, soon return to the field.
When Aston Villa resumes the Premier League season against Crystal Palace, Moreno is now a candidate for playing time. On September 16, the Eagles visit Villa Park in an effort to defeat the Villans on the road for the first time since December 2013. Four of Crystal Palace’s last six visits have ended in losses.

When Aston Villa takes on Crystal Palace, Alex Moreno might make his injury comeback.
Following Moreno’s injury

Lucas Digne was given the opportunity to take over as Aston Villa’s left back, and he has had a generally successful start to the season. Following the Spaniard’s arrival in Birmingham, the 30-year-old had lost Emery’s favor. He joined in January for £13.5 million.

Emery received support from Aston Villa to sign Moreno from Real Betis because the manager thought the 30-year-old was a better player than Digne. After that, Emery started Moreno in 14 out of a possible 19 Premier League games. He was hampered by a hamstring injury in the game before the end of 2021–2022.

Moreno often impressed, too, with Alan Shearer and Ian Wright lauding his ‘brilliant’ crosses into Ollie Watkins against West Ham. The full-back delivered precise balls into the box to get three assists in 19 outings. Digne had one goal in 28 fixtures without a single assist last term.

Jacob Ramsey hands Unai Emery a double boost in the international break

Ramsey has given Emery a second boost as the injured midfielder is almost ready to play again for Aston Villa. Due to a foot injury sustained while playing for England’s Under-21s at the 2023 European Championships, the 22-year-old has yet to make an appearance this season.England's Jacob Ramsey ruled out for remainder of Under-21 Euros - Sports Mole

Within the next weeks, Aston Villa hopes to welcome Ramsey back to full health. With 35 Premier League appearances, he was a key member of their teams last season. The standout from Birmingham contributed six goals and seven assists while making 31 starts.

Liverpool have a “headstart” on Arsenal in terms of goal scoring, according to his stance.
