Following a recent health crisis, Vincent Kompany shares an update on Burnley winger Darko Churlinov.
Darko Churlinov’s recovery from a significant health scare has been described as “miraculous” by Vincent Kompany.
The 23-year-old was transported to a hospital in Belgrade after developing probable blood poisoning, according to the manager of the winger’s national team, North Macedonia, who made the revelation at the beginning of June.
Later it was discovered that Churlinov had been flown back to the UK for medical treatment at a Manchester clinic.
Later, Churlinov would share details of his trying few weeks on social media while confirming that he had been released from the hospital.
He stated on Instagram, “This month has been the toughest month of my life.
“But with your support and seeing all the messages over these days gave me power to fight and get back on my feet.
“I want to thank every single one of you for helping me beat this fight that wasn’t easy.
It’s time for me to rest up and try to get back to playing the lovely game as soon as I can.
For the first time, Kompany addresses Churlinov’s health scare and claims that the winger is far better than was thought to be.
“It’s really, really positive,” he exclaimed.
“We were prepared for the worst in terms of a lengthy absence from the game, but his comeback has been almost amazing.
“I can’t tell you when it will happen, but if things continue as they are, he will recover his full fitness.
I’m hoping I’ll be able to change my response by the time you ask the same question next month.
