Crystal Palace have reportedly reached an agreement to sign talented England international Jack Grealish, in a move that would represent one of the most eye-catching transfers of the summer.
Grealish, who can operate as a left winger or attacking midfielder, has been searching for a new opportunity after returning to Manchester City following his loan spell at Everton. Recent reports have linked him with several clubs, including Crystal Palace, although there has been no confirmed official announcement that Palace have completed the transfer.
The 30-year-old remains one of the most technically gifted English attackers of his generation. His ability to carry the ball, create chances and operate between the lines could provide Palace with another creative option in the final third.
A move to Selhurst Park could also give Grealish the opportunity to play more regularly. Crystal Palace have reportedly been mentioned as a potential destination for the former Aston Villa captain as he considers his next career move.
Grealish originally joined Manchester City from Aston Villa in 2021 for a British-record £100 million transfer fee. During his time at City, he won major trophies, including the Premier League and Champions League.
His 2025–26 campaign was spent on loan at Everton, where he became an important attacking player before his season was interrupted by injury. Reports indicate that Everton remain interested in bringing him back, meaning Palace would face competition if they seriously pursue a permanent deal.
For Crystal Palace supporters, the potential arrival of Grealish would certainly create excitement. His experience at the highest level of English and European football could add quality and creativity to the squad.
However, until Crystal Palace, Manchester City or the player officially confirms the agreement, the story should be treated as a transfer report rather than a completed deal.
