LIVERPOOL’S UNYIELDING POSITION ON SALAH

Jurgen Klopp, the mastermind behind Liverpool’s recent successes, has made it abundantly clear: Fenway Sports Group (FSG), the club’s owners, have no intention of parting ways with Mohamed Salah. This comes amidst swirling rumours that Al-Ittihad is keen to secure the Egyptian maestro before the Saudi Pro League’s transfer deadline this Thursday.

THE £200 MILLION QUESTION

While a staggering £150 million offer has already been turned down, there’s chatter in the footballing world that Al-Ittihad is preparing an even more eye-watering £200 million bid. FSG president Mike Gordon has been steadfast, informing Saudi officials that Salah is not on the market.

KLOPP’S TAKE ON SALAH’S FUTURE

After Liverpool’s convincing 3-0 win over Aston Villa, in which Salah netted his 223rd goal for the club, Klopp was questioned about the club’s stance on Salah’s future. His response was as straightforward as they come: “Yup… yeah.”

Dominik Szoboszlai, a fellow player, has indicated that Salah has no desire to leave Anfield.
