Latest Birmingham City news from BirminghamLive includes a trial for ex-Crystal Palace and Blackpool winger Keshi Anderson
Keshi Anderson is in line to feature in Birmingham City’s opening pre-season friendly against Solihull Moors after linking up with the club earlier this week.
The former Blackpool winger reported for Blues training on Tuesday to train with the club in the hope of earning a contract. Anderson barely featured for Blackpool as they were relegated from the Championship last term due to a succession of injuries.
Blues could be in the market for a new winger with Tahith Chong the subject of interest from Premier League side Luton Town. BirminghamLive understands Werder Bremen flier Oliver Burke is also on Blues’ radar.
Anderson has the chance to make an impression on head coach John Eustace at The ARMCO Arena this afternoon. The 28-year-old arrived at the stadium with Blues’ first team squad in preparation for their first pre-season fixture.
