Arsenal FC winger Gabriel Martinelli has reportedly rejected the opportunity to leave the club for Turkish giants Galatasaray, despite strong interest and a substantial transfer proposal.

Galatasaray reportedly submitted an offer worth around £38.4 million (€45 million) for the Brazilian winger. However, Martinelli’s camp has informed Arsenal that the player has no intention of moving to Turkey this summer and would prefer to remain in North London.

The decision comes at a time when Arsenal are considering changes to their attacking options. Reports indicate that the Gunners would be open to Martinelli leaving if they can secure a suitable replacement, particularly for the left-wing position.

Martinelli, who joined Arsenal in 2019, remains under contract and is expected to continue competing for a place in Mikel Arteta’s squad. His decision to reject Galatasaray means the Turkish club may now have to look at alternative targets.
