‘Trying to get it done’: Wolves could sign 27-year-old striker today.

Wolves are having a very busy end to the summer transfer window, and Che Adams might be on his way to Molineux by the end of play today.

Wolves have been making moves in recent days.

Enso Gonzalez and Santiago Bueno, both from South America, became the club’s third and fourth acquisitions of the summer yesterday.

Tommy Doyle will also be on loan at the club.He was spotted in Wolves training gear yesterday, and an announcement about his departure is expected soon.

In the last hours of the window, there have been a few more linkages to players.

Adams, the Southampton striker…

On deadline day, the Wolves could sign Che Adams.

Journalist Alex Crook stated late last night that Wolves will try to close the deal today.

Crook reported earlier in the day that Adams will sign a contract with the Saints to safeguard his value.

He just has a year left on his deal at the present.

If Adams leaves, Southampton already have a substitute in the form of Ross Stewart.

Wolves and Southampton were reportedly in talks with Adams, according to Telegraph columnist John Percy yesterday.

Wolves would be wise to loan Che Adams.

Wolves’ move would not be such a bad one.

Fabio Silva and Sasa Kalajdzic have both shown promising signs this season, scoring at least one goal each.

Matheus Cunha has also made a strong start.

But maybe Wolves simply need one more option.

Southampton FC v AFC Bournemouth - Premier League

Adams, a Scotland international now playing in the Championship, is certainly familiar with the Premier League. In 124 appearances, he has 25 goals in the division.

He isn’t really productive, but signing him on loan wouldn’t be a horrible idea.

As long as it does not imply that Gary O’Neil will play Silva less frequently. It is critical that the youngster have adequate playing time this season.
