Manager Rob Edwards of Luton Town has revealed that the team is in communication with Teden Mengi of Manchester United.

According to The Manchester Evening News, the academy product will sign a permanent transfer agreement with the Hatters today. Mengi made his senior debut in the Europa League in 2020 and only went on to make one further appearance.

The centre-half, who suffered two major injuries in the last 18 months, has been loaned to Derby County and Birmingham City in recent years. Luton have been tracking the progress of the 21-year-old, who has made two Premier League 2 appearances this season.
