What Will Gravenberch Bring to Liverpool?
The former Ajax man is a product of the highly esteemed Ajax youth academy. At 6’3″ he is physically dominant but has also been described as “technically brilliant” by ESPN’s Tor-Kristian Karlsen. The 21-year-old has quick feet and is excellent at progressing the ball upfield from deep. He usually plays in a midfield double pivot as a box-to-box midfielder, which should make him an ideal partner for new signings Alexis Mac Allister and Waturo Endo.

Liverpool currently lack a physical presence in the middle of the park. Their current options in midfield are known for their technicality rather than their robustness. If the move for Gravenberch materialises, it could help Klopp by forming a formidable double-pivot with his options equally adept at progressing the ball from deep, contributing to attacks, and breaking up opposition attacks.
